These are definitely a slimmer fit and a bit lower in the rise.  Check the measurements table for the 634, measure your Indos following the Measuring The Works, Inc. Way example thread and you should get a decent idea of the difference in fit.

If you want the 634 to fit similarly to the Indo, I'd say you should probably go down a size.  The 21 oz denim stretches pretty well, so a tight initial fit will loosen up nicely.  Personally, I got the same size in both.  Hope that helps.:)

Oh, and welcome to the forum…

Innerlogic, I've got the INDO's and love the fit as well. I think they have been one of the most under-rated models IH has produced.

Even though I love the other IH cuts, I can't quite find one that matches the INDO. In addition to Chris's comments about the 634, this may be useful for reference: The BB and 666 will give you a similar lower-leg, but are tighter in the thigh compared to the INDO. Also, all the standard IH models have a higher rise than the INDO.

Gotta keep this thread alive and spread the Indo love.

A couple of snaps. Hard to say how much actual wear time these have had….maybe about 2 months? Suffice to say they are fading waaaaayyyy faster than any of my other IH jeans.

I guess you will have a good idea once you get there. It sort of depends on how broken-in they are when you arrive in SE Asia. I share your concerns though - I'm planning a move somewhere much warmer and more humid than the UK and wondering how much of this gear I can actually wear in real heat.

Oh yeah, def get them hemmed, but the length will depend on whether you cuff or stack (or neither).

Kicked: if they were mine I'd hem them, but do what you feel comfortable with.

I'm definitely going to hem them. Thanks for the input.

@kicked: To be honest i feel like you don't even need to hem, you could try to see if you can set the stacks to be a bit little lower, cuffs with sme stacks is what i did and they ended up looking all right.

@Rocknroll: Thanks for that! And yeah I should have tried them out at self edge before i copped. I just called in and the guy said size up from 29 to 30 so i did just that. I was in denial that my jeans were too big and didnt accept the fact that they were just cause i shelled out a whole bunch of moolah for them, but you live and you learn right?

is anyone interested in a nearly new sz 31 (inseam around 32.5)?

i've only worn these 2 times now and I'm thinking the back rise is a little low for me.  If it was just another inch it'd be great and this denim is simply amazing, but I think I may need to eventually pass them on to someone else due to needing a longer back rise.

If you're interested hit me up!

Mine just broke yesterday after I played laser tag with the boys.
Is it possible to be replaced with any other button?

By the way I have one and it's 1 year and 2 months old, I'll post it later 😃
