You come here and do fekkin' snovelin' 5 months straight year after year and then tell me you love winter….Yeah, folks don't get winter around here either. My stepson said a couple years ago "it snowed, I don't want to go to school"

This is how it is in the southern states. In North Carolina, where I grew up, the reliable gauge of school cancellation was if the snow covered the grass. No visible grass = no school.

public schools in NY are closed & mass transit will get shut down in a few hours due to the incoming storm.
think state of emergencey called in NJ . . . Bagley & other folks in the Carolinas (& the storm's path in general) stay safeI'll be in Bklyn bbq'ing until my wife yells at me to come inside
