Random Rants

I had a conversation with the IH JP crew in NY, and told them that I spend a lot of time working on my car, my house, and when I was an investigator, crawling around, up ladders, down tubes, in giant pressure cookers, in my "work wear"
While I love the vintage styled clothing, cotton and leather and other natural materials can only take me so far. When it's a cold and wet environment, cotton and leather is not ideal, I really prefer synthetic materials. I keep a TADGear softshell in my car in case my car breaks down on the side of the road when it's raining/snowing
I wear IH because it's versatile in a myriad of environments. The IHJ-08 just adds to the toolbox. For me, if I can't work in my workwear, it becomes more of a fashion statement than functional equipment

I give a lot of credit to Giles when he asked me for input on the Vulcans, he really drilled down to "what would make working in your jeans better?" They're perfect. I'm going to be getting my house ready for the hurricane in them later today
Workwear is not a theme for me, it's another tool
So for you project manager types, we did a SWOT analysis on jeans

@RP:
Got back to Madrid afternoon from NYC on Monday and I just found out that I have to go to DC on Sunday for a couple of days. I'll just be over the jet lag when I get back on the fucking plane. At least they have predicted the worst storm since the Perfect Storm will begin on Sunday on the East Coast for the entire time I am there. I'm sure that won't affect my travel plans. There is no way this ends well.
Cooler heads prevailed and the trip was just cancelled so I would like to post this as an anti-rant.

Exactly, my work clothes are also my beer clothes, my shopping clothes, my visiting clothes, my going out to dinner clothes….my clothes are just my clothes, fuck occasions

Can someone please buy the red XXL 72's in the store before my resolve crumbles, and Pam kicks me out, and we have to cancel Christmas (again !)
