^^that is my opinion as well.  Yes the denim will stretch…eventually.  But not before you damage the buttonholes and seams.  And jeans that skinny do not look good on dudes (less skin on future pics please).  IH jeans have a high inseam, and you will not be able to avoid the horrific male camel toe.

My pair of 18oz were pretty tight at first as well.  I to went with a size down but that was because they were auctioned samples.  I think u can get a lot of stretch out of urs.  I'd like to see a better pic of u wearing them though..maybe a bit more straight on of a pic and put some distance so we can see a bit better.

If it's uncomfortable in the crotch for me anyway, they're not worth having.  IMO you should size up…

that whole top block will stretch out. i'd be persevering if they were mine but that's just me.

Even if the top block stretches they will feel tight in the crotch and thighs…and I think they would also look much better with a little room here and there. Sizing down on already slim fits is common but not my cup of tea. Just my 2 cts.

Yeah I do feel the crotch area is indeed too tight. Will mail in for size up!

Sounds like a good idea. You wouldn´t have that much fun in the long run if you´d keep that size. On the one side it looks off and on the other side your testicles need some space to move, too

I bought a pair of these in 33. My last jeans were some Flat Head F380s in 34, and the difference in slimness is large, as you would imagine.

Fit pic of my 555-01s. Sorry about the rubbish pic. I had to up the brightness due to poor light, which doesn't exactly help.

I love the fit. The denim is heavier and slimmer than I've worn before, but it is nice and stretchy. I'm around 6'1", and I had them hemmed to take 3.5" off.
