Can't answer your question, Clop, but much dig your look. The yellowish/orange check looks great, and the fit of the jeans is just how it should be be. What jeans are these?

Rough answer to your question, the TFH winter flannels to me seem about three quarters as heavy as IH winter flannels
The TFH winter flannel fabric is great, super soft brushed inside.

Question: does 16oz FH denim shrink more/less/same as the 'standard' 14.5oz stuff?

Shrinkage guidelines on SE and DC4 sites suggest it should be pretty similar. Anyone got both types to confirm this?

There is slightly less shrinkage of the 16oz denim in my own experience.
My 3001 shrunk 2.5" in the inseam and the 2001 just under 2"
Fractionally less in all other areas.
