Thanks brother. I have handed them off to pete so i guess we will play the waiting game a bit till his first post, but sure enough he's got em!
-
So I picked these up from dep to start my leg of the tour…..
Monday 10/8

It was my turn to make dinner….

Special "Chaka's mmm" sauce

View from the balcony

Final outcome… steak, taquitos, and rice w/furikake seasoning. And yes, that is a Hello Kitty placemat. Gotta compromise with the wifey :-

Wednesday 10/10
Off to the studio…

"Comfort/Pisser" Room

Control Room

"Live" Room

Thursday 10/11
Went to celebrate the San Francisco Giants sweep against the Cincinnati Reds @ Refuge in San Carlos

North Coast Prankster

Bomb ass rueben sandwich w/pickled onions

Friday 10/12

Couldn't find a newspaper (all sold out), so I got this shirt instead…

Went all the way to Ikea to purchase this….

Didn't know they sold ribs there! Oh, and also purchased some bookshelves while I was there.
-
Ikea sells ribs in the US? ???
Pam may have a shot at getting me there after all

Great post Pete.
-
Yeah, they're actually not bad. Usually I stick to the meatballs, because I like that lingonberry sauce, but ikea has diversified its food offerings. The cinnamon buns, when fresh, are a solid value, too.
-
Nice update Pete!
-
Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Something happened during my leg of the tour and I lost a very kind and generous person to cancer. He is in a better place now pain free. I love you Tito Bogie!
Wife found these at all places…... Target!

Went to visit my uncle/tito at the hospital. Some say that part of this wing is haunted, what do you think?

Early morning run

Picking up the wife

Wore these to the hospital

Wife with goddaughter after being baptized

UNDS (undeadstocking) these to go visit my uncle.

The next day we got a call early am stating that my uncle had just passed. RIP Tito!

As I was on my way to the city for a gig, I passed by these… (Ferry Building and Coit Tower)

Gig at Pier 23

Didn't know they served this too

The next day we had dinner and drinks at Ozone. This day would be so memorable for my wife and I. You see, Sunday 10/28 would be game 4 of the Major League Baseball World Series with the San Francisco Giants vs Detroit Tigers. Two years ago I got married and the best present we got was the Giants winning their first World Series in San Francisco. Now, two years later, I was hoping for the same thing….

Giants closer for the night….. Romo!

Last pitch….. Cabrera caught looking (sorry so blurry)

Then the celebration began

Everyone had left the restaurant and headed to the streets

Me being (a little/a lot) tipsy

Headed towards the ball park

Me and Mrs. PETEROCK1

The "Say Hey Kid" Willie Mays

24 Willie Mays Plaza

Had to get some sort of souvenir that night

Next day was our wedding anniversary of 2 years. Went out for a morning run

Grabbed the morning paper

Mrs. PETEROCK1 surprised me with this cake

Wednesday was the parade for the Giants and I wasn't gonna miss it so I had to get to the Civic Center early

Didn't want to get to deep into the crowd so I stayed right near the jumbo tron

My morning breakfast

And so the parade begins

The aftermath

Thursday 11/1 First day back to work

Saturday 11/3 If you don't know…. now you know!

-
i'm down for another turn later on down the road.
