A type III should fit like an extra layer of skin… made of denim.

Size down.  If the other measurements do no work, then this particular Type III is not for you.  Personally I like a super snug fit, it that means the arms are too short, I live with it…..

Here you go, sorry for the poor quality photos, was late and i just had my phone at hand, but you can make an idea.

Like i said, chest, arms, shoulders and length are fine. Is the bottom opening that is too big. I think i have to suck it, the M would be to small or not? A type III should be fit slim, right?
For reference, I have a IH-SH33 in L and the fit is spot on, slim as it should.

          Exchange for M?

….keep it! Fit is perfect imho!

Thanks for the feedback guys and Giles, order for the M is placed. Let's see how it fits, I hope right. I love the feeling of this jacket. I'll post fit pics as soon the M arrives.

I got the jacket in size M, unfortunately the fit was to small, bummer! I just sent both back. Btw, the service from Paula was kind, efficient and fast. Many thanks IH!

Well, its a pity that I couldn't fit them. The fabric was great.
Today I was looking for the Samurai Type III until Max Power told me about Sugar Cane and their cheap prices. I  just checked the measures and it looks fine. Is not a 21oz. but a humble 14.25oz. Problem is that I saw it in Rakuten and they don't take PayPal, anyone had any experience buying from them with credit card?

^ Concret, ive bought from Rakuten many times with my cc without issue.  It may however depend on which particular vendor you are buying from.. not sure.

I recommend using e2nd.net for buying through Rakuten.

                                          …40 = large, 42 = xlarge.

I should add, for people wondering how to size, that I've ended up settling on the 40 (pictures coming soon).  I've had the 42 for almost a year now but always thought that I should've sized down.  Last week, I ordered the 40.  It fits like I figured it would, much tighter, especially on the body, which is what I was looking for.

I should add that I'm about 5'9 (~176cm) and 185lbs (84kg), athletic build (42.5" in the chest).  Also, I don't plan on layering, this thing pretty much only goes on over a tshirt.

                                          Blanket-line all the things!!!
