There were a couple of questions about stretch so I took some measurements of mine which I've worn for about 2 weeks. Mind that my jeans were post soak so my initial measurements listed here are different from the above:

Post soak:
Waist 34
Thigh 12
Knee 8
Cuff 7.7

After some wear:
Waist 34
Thigh 12.25
Knee 8.25
Cuff 7.7

Just 4 or 5 of each model, I very rarely make masses of a new model in the first run….

do these need to be soaked before their first wear?…the "unwashed + shrinkage" part somehow sounds like it, the "sanforized" part don´t! :-\

deebo, will waist 30 not work for you? waist will shrink not that much and stretch back imho. I am TTS 30 and will try 29 if I am fast enough

Deebo, the 29 will work for you. The shrinkage in the waist is small on these, and as Davito says you'll get some stretch….

Yes, which is the same denim as used in the IHXB01sbg…There is only one 21oz sbg.

Fixed it. I seriously like these much more than I would have ever thought. I have always stayed away from black jeans and skinny/super slim jeans. Maybe these were exactly what I needed.
