Last night Paula and I had the extraordinary pleasure of meeting Bill Charney aka Biff Windsock. This guy is a seriously nice man and has clocked up a staggering 33,500 flying hours, that is nearly 4 years behind a joy stick. He has come over to England from New Zealand in his immaculate Beechcraft Staggerwing which was originally built in 1944…..Read his story here:
Anyway, I invited myself to go and look at his baby, which we did today. When he comes back next year he'll take us for a spin…
Captain Biff explaining some of the mechanics..
Looks nice in there, well in the 30's and 40's it was the equivalent of a Lear…
Paula loving it….

Working at the 44th Southampton Boat Show, I've worked the last 16 of these! Not much happening here right now so time to post some photos.
Persol, Crappy company polo, Buzz Chinos, Wolverine 1000 mile
Rocking those Persol's far better than me!
The show is at Mayflower Park, this is the actual dock The Mayflower left for America, (now reclaimed land, the ship would have been tied up where that BMW is).
View across the show from the Mayflower gate.
