Those heavy outbreaks of senseless violence in the UK as of the last few years trouble me, whether it's all those teenager stabbings and shootings or the sad event that killed this policewoman. Whatever happened to British civility?

Was walking through town today and thought I'd get my hair cut so I seen a barbers and went in sat down the guy asked me what I wanted done and then before he started he then asked me if I would like a beer ??? And being the polite guy I am I kindly acceptedand it wasn't a tin from a bag he had hid behind the till it was a bottle of innis and gunn From a refrigerator ( great Scottish beer ,anyone who hasn't should check it out )
is this a common thing ? My regular barbers is just a traditional barber shop so I'm not realy used to I dont know a "classy" barbers -
Haha, last time I went with my wife to her place and decided to get my hair cut last minute. I ended up getting cut by the guy who owned the place. He offered me the same thing (at 10AM!) and it was the first time I ever encountered that also!
