IHSH-62-IND - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
-
Reminds me to start a thread in the trades section… 62 M for 55 M... PM me... So have you decided to live with your 62 then? Because it looks great on you.
-
The IHSH-55 was brown overdyed to control the bleeding. Haraki-san tinkered with the process and hence the brighter IHSH-62. The IHSH-55 has a vintage look.

G, are you expecting a restock of these any time soon?

^Early Oct. or so as it says here: (easy to miss just scroll down) http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3861.msg197530#msg197530

Thanks Furatto. I saw G's post about possible changes in colors, etc. Did not see that original post itself. Like a tidal wave of gear..

Shortened exactly 1 inch. They were able to shorten it without touching my chainstitch runoff and triangle thingies… The girl in the shop showed me the shirt, I said it was ok, she then took a pair of scissors and wanted to cut off the runoffs!.. I placed my hand IN BETWEEN the scissors and almost frantically shouted NO KEEP 'M ON!.. Either way:

Much better… perfect fit now.

Picked one of these up from SE last week… I love the shirt perfect fit after soak but have a question. The chain stitch runoff on mine is more than slightly uneven. One side is nearly 7 inches long and the other is just about 3... I might just be being picky but looks really odd to me when one hangs and has such a dominant presence aesthetically compared to the other. Is there anyway to trim this? I'm worried it will in ravel and I (for one) am a huge fan of the runoff

Just hack away with scissors. I cut off the run-off on my 55 and nothing bad has happened.
-
Alrighty appreciated fellas, just wanted to double check before I did something I would regret.
-
If you're really, really worried about it, you could put a small knot in the end of the runoff, just to be extra sure that it won't unravel. And by the way- congratulations on picking up what is easily my favorite IH shirt.
