My guess is that he is wishing he was modeling the IHSH-55.

So have you decided to live with your 62 then? Because it looks great on you.

Nope. Gonna try and wash it again, hoping it'll shrink some more… Sleeves and body length need to be shorter.

or just wash it real real hot and put it in the dryer afterwards!…should do the trick

I just noticed how bright the stitching is on the 62 compared to the 55. Just thought I'd mention it

The IHSH-55 was brown overdyed to control the bleeding.  Haraki-san tinkered with the process and hence the brighter IHSH-62.  The IHSH-55 has a vintage look.

After a second soak (40C°)… Now fits like my 07!.. The sleeves need to settle and still are a bit too long, but because of the tight opening, they don't fall over my hands...

Thanks Furatto.  I saw G's post about possible changes in colors, etc.  Did not see that original post itself.  Like a tidal wave of gear..

Shortened exactly 1 inch. They were able to shorten it without touching my chainstitch runoff and triangle thingies… The girl in the shop showed me the shirt, I said it was ok, she then took a pair of scissors and wanted to cut off the runoffs!.. I placed my hand IN BETWEEN the scissors and almost frantically shouted NO KEEP 'M ON!..  😉

Picked one of these up from SE last week… I love the shirt perfect fit after soak but have a question.

The chain stitch runoff on mine is more than slightly uneven. One side is nearly 7 inches long and the other  is just about 3... I might just be being picky but looks really odd to me when one hangs and has such a dominant presence aesthetically compared to the other. Is there anyway to trim this? I'm worried it will in ravel and I (for one) am a huge fan of the runoff

Just hack away with scissors. I cut off the run-off on my 55 and nothing bad has happened.
