I propose with these new 17oz duck Work Pants coming in Nov (as they are a loser cut) a flannel lined "Winter Work Pant".  This could be done recycling any cotton shirting fabric (which is still available) at minimum extra cost to provide a new go-to item for the colder months.

Great idea.  A couple of proviso's…

        1. It is unlikely that we will have enough flannel lying around to utilise.  It woud all need t be the same weight and weave
        2. The cost will be quite a lot higher as the complexity of construction is multiplied (we know how difficult it is to do utilising 2 heavy fabrics - we learnt with the Self Edge IH X634sX flannel lined jeans)
        3. There is no space left in production for this year.
Having said all that, I will work on releasing these for Fall 2013

Could you tie this in with a flannel lined, chambray work shirt? Or would the price/ construction be prohibitive?

            What's prohibitive??  😃 😃 😃 😃

Great idea.  Though the flannel woud have to be a lighter than used in the work pants.

When flannel/blanket lining the chambray, please make the inner sleeves quilted nylon. Thanks.

This page demonstrates one of the (many) reasons I love IH:

"Hey, why don't you make X?"
                              "Great idea! Let's do it!"
                              "Fuck yeah!"

i´d vote for an all flannel/blanket lined everything…no quilted nylon lined this time! that´s just me though 😉

I think the nylon sleeve is great…. makes it so you can put the shirt over anything you want and its not a pain in the ass to put the sleeves on.  Maybe if you used totally unbrushed flannel on the inside......  I'm into the idea of a reversible flannel lined chambray, but only if i can put my goddamn arm into the sleeves when I'm wearing whatever it is that I want to wear.

Also... I would like to see a nice flannel weave inside, not troy lining!
