Probably should have gotten a hair cut as well xD! If anyone has a recommendation on how to cut a jew fro and have it look nice I'm willing to see what I could possibly do..

As a continuation from my latest WAYWT pic. As MikeC stated, something needs to be done. I am in complete agreement.
However the last time I had my hair cut for charity (Children in Need, way back in 2006 I think), £5.00 was raised.
Now I don't know quite when the link was formed in my mind between hair cut and some form of charity event, but it was. And so, whenever someone at work got a little "your hair is really long now… You could cut it... For charity?". My reply became "Well no, because the last time I tried that the miserable [insert unflattering expletive of your choice] in Knutsford only gave £5.00". And then whoever suggested the idea mumbled something and walked off.
So to cut a long story short - haircuts in my experience have become horrific events where I get put on show and have my head shaved in the name of Charity.
Don't know when this became such a long rambling rant, but hey ho.
So… Help me overcome this hideous experience. Please.

Once you've had a good haircut, you'll look at the experience in a completely different light. A bit like going to the dentist's… As for people commenting "oh, you've had it cut", that normally lasts for a day or two and then people move on to talking about the weather or TV.
I'm behind MikeC's recommendation of taking it down to shoulder length. Or you could really have a lot taken off but keep enough on the front and top for a backcombed look (with product).

Just go ahead and shave it. The sight of your ghostly white, lumpy skull will so frighten and disgust people that they will refrain from commenting. Perhaps from even talking to you at all.
That was what happened with me, anyway…

Fuck all this head shaving noise. Go to a hair stylist, NOT a barber and tell them to cut it shoulder length, but to make it look like it was never cut. It should look like it grew out naturally. Make sure they don't layer it like chicks hair either. You may have to be kind of a dick because hair stylists like to think they know what is best for you and they will do what they want and hope you like it. Also, say no fucking product too, I hate gel, leave in conditioners, etc, etc.
MP, I think that if you get your hair done like I said and keep the goatee, women should be kicking your door down. That's my 3cents….

I'm with Mike on this one, too. Go some place that will listen to what you want it to look like. Save some pictures to your phone so you can show them and get hair that makes you feel awesome. You'll be shocked how much confidence a good style can boost.

couldn't see a thread involving a discussion about long hair and not participate! M_P, as a fellow member of the long hair club I am obviously biased towards it as a style generally speaking but, since you asked for thoughts, I really do think getting it around shoulder length and maybe straightened out a bit would look way better on you. do it!
