Yeah mate, I was looking for a nice perf captoe and these turned up. The only ones left in stock happened to me my size.. so I pounced!
I took off my DB's and slipped into the Aldens for the first time.. I was quite honestly blown away by the comfort and feel of quality. I little lighter than I expected, but I think this will be a good thing when putting in the miles.

Im really confused about my size >:(, in vans im using us 11 but in alden i dont know what size to get :| help me guys

Depends on what last you are going to get. I usually size down a half size.

Anybody with the cotton lined 405s/Indy's had an issue with really squeaky uppers? Going down steps is almost comical. It seems to occur in the heel as well as the laces area.

Hello chaps.
I've been on the hunt for some Alden 403 boots for some time now, but not having much luck.
I've got small feet and need a UK6.5 - I cannot find anywhere in the UK that carries them that small, or anywhere in the US that will ship a pair over here.If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it!

According to Alden's store locator there are a few places in the Netherlands and Germany that stock their products.
The Dutch shops are probably a good starting point. The staff in Sir Max speak English, so I'd drop them an email, and see if they can help.

Just dropped my Indys off to get resoled with a Vibram lug sole. Excited to see how they look. Couldn't wear them if it was icy or wet out without slipping around.
