Regarding history, anyone know the original brand?

I love that Forge and Aubrac both use individual craftsmen and traditional methods. I've also seen some really cheap knives branded as Laguiole.

I just got a new Kershaw as a gift, and I'm kinda really in love with it. My wife has the smaller pink version of it.

Damn Tapatalk won't upload the pics, or I'd have 'em up.

I'm thinking of writing some Romantic poetry about the Sebenza…

"Cut this rope, the only way to my heart..."

You know, real sappy stuff... Sebenza =  😘

Given the generally lackadaisical level of security by NYC area TSA employees, I'd say your odds aren't that bad, actually.

Just chuck it nice and deep in your plane's wing. Make sure it holds. Pull it back out afterwards. Oh: the pilot's not an 2nd option… And I will not make any jokes about pulling it out of the pilot...

Interesting.  The last couple of times I went through Newark, they barely batted an eye at our extensive collection of semi-prohibited items.  Multiple bottles of formula, strollers, carseats, etc. went through with no issues.  We could have had anything in there.
