White's Boots

Boots of mass destruction …..BMD
-
Might end up being $600 after all…
-
Shipping is $59, import charge is in the lap of the gods unfortunately But, they would have been $600 plus all that anyway…so still winning (as Charlie Sheen would say).
-
Could always ship to an NYC address and wait. Usually $25 for shipping from them to NYC.

fucking SCORE! nice work Boots ordered And my wait time will be around nine days, rather than 8 weeks Whitesriver on eBay had the exact make up I wanted for my dream boots, in the exact leathers, with a triple leather sole, and the exact Vibram sole. The colour make up was different, but I watched the auction for a week and ended up paying $420 for them, when to have them made would have cost almost $600 I am a happy man

Thanks Shane, but I want some break in time with these bad boys before treading the pavements of NYC in them Rafa, you know me too well. I just didn't want to share until I knew they were mine The thing that really attracted me to them (I know they won't be everyone's taste) was the cap toe on a pair of lace to toe boots, it's the first time I've seen any Whites with that feature, and it's not an option through either Bakers or Whites. The boots I have dreamed about for absolutely months were like these, but plan toe with a cap, and a two tone of tan bull hide, and black bull hide. I wanted a pair of boots that look like they will last a lifetime, like so much of my IH gear

Thanks Shane, but I want some break in time with these bad boys before treading the pavements of NYC in them You should of started six months ago

You should of started six years ago

I know they're not everyones taste, but it's their complete rugged, indestructible, fuck you look that I like As for break in, my first ever Whites were SD's with a double leather sole, and the break in time for me was about 30 seconds, I believe that if you size right, your boots will be a good fit from the get go. I have owned SJ's before in a 9.5, and D is my width, so I should be good to go. Also, the arch ease support really does help with supporting the foot, almost all the people I have ever seen complain about break in with Whites are either flat footed, or have sized incorrectly. Edit: IJ, they really don't grit anywhere correctly in winter in my part of the UK, where I live we spend more time on our arse than on our feet in winter. We treat snow and ice as a complete surprise, like weather from an alien planet.

I know I was merely providing useful information about the break in time of Whites
-
these are some serious "when shit hits the fan…" boots.

I've shitted up this thread enough with no pics, so…. …. here is a pretty instagram of my oxfords, with my workplace toilet floor providing a beautiful back drop.
