Perhaps a bit late to mention this, but the Olympic opening ceremonies were cool. However, the US team outfits were utter shit. A) berets almost always look ridiculous,
yes, we know Ralph Lauren designed them, we don't need a 6 inch high Polo logo to remind us, and C) making world class athletes in their 20s look like octogenarians taking a cruise in 1937 takes an astonishing level of bad design. -
We were watching the swimming earlier, when the US athletes came out they all looked like they'd been issued with the wrong sized jacket, they were all massive on them :o

Spot on article! Brought back fond memories of hitting Chinese restaurants on tour and trying to convince the waitress that all eight people at the table had egg allergies and couldn't eat animal products, just to get a vegan meal. No fond memories of punk stew though!
