I've never ordered a pair of glasses that weren't from my eye Dr. but need some new ones soon

Would it be possible to get these http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72&products_id=941 fitted with prescription lenses. And if so, where?

Most half decent opticians.  Usually works out cheaper than buying the shitty frames they try and palm off on to you.  Me and Mme B have resolved to always get vintage or decent (Dita for e.g.) and take them in and get them installed with our prescription lenses.  In the UK the majority of the chains will not do this (making there money off the frames) but most good independent opticians will.

Completely agree. Buy the frames you want(online, vintage, etc.) and have a local Optician install some lenses. I had some prescription lenses put in some vintage Ray Bans and it was about $120 I think.

You might like the Freeways from Shuron. They're made a few hours away from you in Greenville, SC I believe and might be half the price of those Dry Bones frames.

In the UK, Specsavers fitted my lenses in my vintage Persols for £62.

Hey guys, noob question…which is the better item to soak jeans in? Bathtub or a bucket/smaller container? Also, does it really make a difference in what you soak them in? I'm kind of tired of using the bathtub due to the amount of water, other reasons, etc..

              Thanks!

I would say it doesn't matter unless you are going for a true 'shrink to fit' and then you want to be sat wearing the jeans in the tub. Bucket works fine in my experience.

I use a bucket mainly because it uses a lot less water. Not sure if that affects the denim, but I prefer to conserve water

That was my concern G is that I would buy the frames and nobody would be able to do the work for me

A phone call to a decent local optician will get you your anser.  I live in a tiny backwater of a town and we have 3 here that will do it….

Inward OE = of course "inward office of exchange"… Just wondering whether BE Adpis means it's being presented to the custom's control organ or released to being delivered tomorrow... Pretty exciting nonetheless  😉

Oh the age old question of what an "Adpis" is….

I googled and saw " 'Adpis' is the indonesian word for 'Advice' "

So, I guess they are asking some Belgians for advice.

Out with the new! In with the old!

It's actually the Dutch word for Advies (as they can't pronounce the letter P)… I'm hoping they're not asking any advice to the Dutchies, they'd probably pour peanutsauce all over my package...
