IHAS-02 - Mid Weight Horse Hide Western Shirt
-
That is unbelievably gorgeous wear in good health!!!

This build would look nasty in a dark heavy oil-pulled. I've gotta piece that Amanda at Aero sent to me some months back and I nailed to the outside of my garage about two months ago to see how it would behave.
Glad someone got one of these in oil-pulled.
….I should post a pick of the above mentioned sample. It's several years old now and still nailed to a board outside. Oil-pulled HH rules. -
Seal jerky russet goat with OD green stitching would be incredible. I think that's probably what I'd get.
So many options with Aero. -
Went out and snapped a couple. I'll post them up here a little later.
Are there pics of the deer hide western anywhere?
-
Did you have a light colored sample built Giles? I didn't realize the deerskin was available in more than this color.
-
Please forgive my unforgivably poor photography:

Maybe this is helpfull as well, some pics with EmceeQ wearing one:

WOW, these are some great pics. Thanks everyone for posting them. That's going to look amazing in the coming years….so cool.

I'm wondering if Will can get some dark brown deerskin given a year's notice or so. I know the hide batches Aero gets vary in color from season to season. Tough to beat the sand color, though…
Deer is very tough. That's why they make work gloves out of it. Cleans up fairly easily too from what I've read, not that that concerns me much. -
Here's a sample of the oil pulled HH Amanda from Aero sent me about two years ago. I cut my sample in two and put half in a drawer and I nailed the other half to a board and put it outside where it's been since I got it. It has not been treated and looks dried out but is still supple.

I have a lot of IH now and have recently begun thinking a lot about what I want built with leather.
I have about 5 Aero samples hanging around this sample and 7 from Langlitz Leathers. They were all cut in half to see how they'd age and they've all been out there for 2 to 3 years.
I have big plans for jackets with both of these companies. They're the best. Period.
