My wide, my daughter and i were on a one day trip to the "Spreewald"! It's a beautiful region in the east of germany with traditional buildings. It's known for the arms of the river "Spree" which is shipped by small boats without rows and engines.  The captains use big bars to push from the ground and pilot down the river!

Heading over to my next door neighbor's for his annual Memorial Day weekend bash.  Last two years I involved so much alcohol overconsumption that I could barely stagger home.  And as I said, the party is next door.
