I dont understand what the powers that be expect the fabric to look like when it is faded? Blue? Black? Grey?

Maybe Black fades on grey or a mixture?

Well, as there is no indigo in the fabric we can rule blue out.  The Warp will fade the weft won't, so it will get lighter in colour with time.  But until it happens, we don't  know exactly what will happen.  You my friends are our guinea pigs…

should be similar to sbg, same dye methods just a lighter shade on the warp on these, same weft
