Lando, as the resident IHW-01 guru do you know if the size of the chest pockets changed over the various iterations of this shirt?
I will measure all 3 XL's and take photos tomorrow. I cannot remember as chest pocket size never has been a issue for me in IH L's or XL's.

Decided not to be lazy and measure them up for you. It looks like the pocket size certainly has grown over time. I hope they don't get any bigger…
Height was measured in two spots; on the side seam (1st measurement) and down the middle to the point at the bottom of the pocket (2nd measurement). See shitty chart to make sense of it all.

Lando, thank you - super helpful!! This was definitely my perception visually from looking at pictures of the newer ones. Unfortunately on smaller sizes (like I wear) the bigger pockets are fairly striking and change the aesthetic a bit. Personally I think the older versions were the best but appreciate that others may like the newer style.

Not a problem. Glad I could help. Yeah, maybe Haraki needs to gauge the pocket sizing of some sort of average of the three? Anyhow, I hope your get bigger and mine get smaller.

Yes it is. Don't own any Larges, but I definitely could fit into them if I wanted.

hi there … i just got my melton shirt today, a snug size L. since it is very snug on my lower arms i am thinking of getting a XL. on the other hand - and that is my question: does it stretch with wearing, similar to the other iron heart products? i mean, does it sort of "mold" to your body? how does it cange with contant wear? does any of you guys have pictures of older shirts? thanks for helping me out ...

If it's the newer version (last years) then it is more snug around the arms, and it doesn't really stretch much.

Same in Glasgow! Just had it dry cleaned last month to put away for summer… but needs must it was cracked out. Made sitting outside easy work though
