        May find out next week

Vote for Black/ Charcoal or Black OD Camo. 🙂

Black OD Camo…so smart. Nice vision, Lando.

Thanks. Yeah, personally I am sick of Camo and OD showing up EVERYWHERE. However, the combo of the two would be something else!

oh oh the olive landed today in the office, wow what another great job from IH. the fabrik, stiching, details are top notch and people, yes I did size up. mine is already perfect with a M (I am usually S) pre-soak. Will give a 30 degree wash tonite and pix to follow soon.
            🙂 🙂 very happy.
Thanks much for your kind service P. and G.

            Cheers,
            David

Pre Soak Measurements (XL - Khaki):

              Chest - 23"
              Shoulder - 18"
              Sleeve - 26.5"
              Length - 29.5"

Post Soak Measurements (XL - Khaki):

              Chest - 22.3"
              Shoulders - 17.5"
              Sleeve - 25.75"
              Length - 28.75

Sorry, but I need an explanation. If shoulders are 18", why on site they say 19.8" (almost 2 inch more)? And if XL are really 18", how will be S? maybe 15.7?

shoulders 17.5 are even too big for me, and if they go 16.5 or 16 after a wash, it will be OK. But what if they are not 17.5" ???

georgeel, I cannot speak for what the site says but only for my measurements. I have been measuring the same way for years. I will try to get some images of the shirt and tape measure for you later this evening. Cheers

Thank you, Lando, I am sure that your measurements are correct. I'm trying to extract a proportion to find out if I have to go for an S or an M.

georgeel, no problem. I will get that for you this afternoon. Unfortunately I cannot remeasure the unwashed, but I will definitely double check the post wash measurements for you. Cheers

I know I know. Lagger status here. Busy weekend and now it is raining. I will make up for it. Rain or shine, you will get a fit flick tonight. 😉

Don't know if this will help you but I take a small in IHSH-43, 55 and 59. I sized up to a M in this and even before a soak, it fit fine in the shoulders.

If you measure like this: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2834.0 it is about 20" for the shoulders.

Girgio I have 59, 51, 56, 37, 31, 16 in S (whereas 16, 56 and 51 have a more snuggier fit) and the 61 in M. I have washed it and it is drying at the moment. Pre-soak it was already perfect over another shirt. Pretty useful Military shirt I think. Assuming you are a slimmer built than I am you could be fine with an S but check carefully. good luck mate

I know I am going to get a lot of heat for this, but this is how I measure shoulders personally. Or straight across the back depending on the collar situation…

That assumes that the front yoke hits the arm in exactly the same place as the rear yoke, that is an inaccurate assumption…

It is. I only do it for mine. I will go ahead and change my measuring to the IH approved method from here on out.  😞

                                          Just re-measured an S and an M pre-wash:

                                          Shoulders - S 17.5”, M 18.5”
                                          Length - S 28”, M 28.5”
                                          PtP - S 21”, M 22”
                                          Opening - S 21”, M 22”
                                          Sleeve - S 24.5”, M 25”

                                          Hope this helps…  🙂
