there has been a suicide at my college campus tonight. someone (likely) jumped from one of the dorms to their death. It was the building right next to where my girlfriend stayed her first 2 years at Cal. I feel for the students, i feel for the poor kid's parents, but most of all, i feel for the student who took their own life. there is nothing worse than wasted talent and there is always time to make things better. Very sobering with graduation so close.

^yeah, his name was Henry Treadway. He was a friend of some of my friends. He went to school not 15 mins away from Cal and he was only finishing his second year.

Not a trait to be proud of. But sometimes I just don't have the time to be polite when I am not getting what I think I should. Indeed, I got ruder than I ever have with someone I have never spoken to before at UPS last week. The resulting attention and service have been incredible…..

besides if there's a no no topic around here it's politics. I'd say lets all just leave this alone and move on

I rant about politics constantly, but I use other mediums than a public forum, which is not dedicated to politics. I like to rant on Facebook, and see who will argue with me….....I get weird kicks out of winding up my friends and family

i'm happy all are open minded & able to discuss topics even if they do not agree with some one else's views. the high road is a hard road to navigate, so kudos to all of you.
amazed that i was able to delete my long rant about social class and discrimanation in general ::)

Sliced the end of one of my fingers last night washing a knife. Now I have the tip of it bandaged up and it's killing my typing. I'm not great to begin with (40-50wpm), but this is got to be dropping my speed by 35%, dammit.
