The Evolution of Iron Heart

I know this was a few pages back and sorry to go off topic but I'd like to add.
It's funny reading about people (not you guys) not wearing their jeans outside when it's raining because they don't want to get water on them. Get the fuck out of here with that! I love going out on a shitty day with my jeans on to expose them to the natural elements. Imo, it adds to the story and character of your jeans. I haven't washed my 666s yet since it's only been close to a week, but I plan on washing whenever the hell I feel like it. Whether it be tomorrow, a month, two months or even six months from now. I really don't give a fuck haha. In the end, I'll still love them

actual we know and love people that carry a emergency rain kit with them, so that their raw denim will stay raw at all times…
True, quite a character, and a hell of a nice guy

@Dirty:
Lando did I tell u i love those jeans…I think im gonna have to buy a used pair that look like urs to help prevent me from washing my current jeans.
Well thank you. Don't buy a used pair. Just keep up with what you are wearing. It is so much more "rewarding" when you look back on all the things they have done/ seen and places they have traveled. Also, if you buy another pair your current pair won't move along any further.
So true!
your pair gives motivation to others. Hoping we will get there some day. (Praying our waist don't inflate through the years)

My inability to be patient is probably my weakest flaw. Since i got into this world my obsessions are fekkin on overload lol If u guys only knew how many pics and websites i look at on a daily bases u would think i was nutz. I now have maybe 50 or 60 online stores and forums saved in my favorites..I am pretty sure u guys have at 1 time been just like me if ur not currently

Damn DirtyD. I thought I was the only one with this kind of denim obsession as of late. I definitely blame Iron Heart and this forum for my current addiction hah. This has actually been a good thing for me. It's kept my mind away from any kind of tabacco product.
1st let me just say BOOOOO to the Red Sox lol & YESS my mind like urs is being kept on one thing & one thing only…My need to be dressed in a Canadian tuxedo

What is taking you so long?

Well in regards to the 25oz denim, those of us who have been wearing them for a while are noticing that they need to be introduced to water sooner due to the fabric's abrasiveness. People like GHBK have already opened up a hole in the crotch of his beautiful pair after only a few months, so it might be wise for you to at least soak them occasionally, no need to wait so long. From my experience with the 23oz., an hour soak does not release much indigo at all. But periodic soaking might extend the life of the 25oz. significantly.

You are totally right adam. A non agitated soak with help to strengthen the fabric and will help lessen the likelihood of indigo loss.

Sorry but what's agitated soak? And you mean periodically soak for an hour to strengthen the denim?

Agitated soak would be when you move them around during the course of the soak. Periodically move the jeans around in the water, flip them over, etc. If you want to minimize indigo loss the DO NOT agitate during the soak.

I already washed my sexihxlsxa13, after 2 month, perfect time, Also in my experience if your really not wanting your creases to move what so ever, wash them while on in the shower, pat off excess water and wear till there dry, every crease will be in exact same place. Either way, you really dont lose much indigo? I garentee u can't even tell with the naked eye after 1 washEdit: washed my sexihxlsxa 13 after 1 month not 2
