When they first split, I thought that John Squires would go on to prove that he was the musical genius behind the band. However, he went on to do this….

          Whilst Ian Brown did this…..

          I was wrong  😞

Thats from out of left field Jeff, you were born and raised in NJ right? I didn't think that little band from Stourbridge had made it that far  😞

I only saw them once, in their home town with the Wonderstuff and Neds Atomic Dustbin. I was being strongly influenced by a variety of medications at the time, so alas my memory of the night is poor.

These days I mainly listen to music appropriate to a white guy, in his mid 30's, working his way to becoming middle class…...Arcade Fire, Noah And The Whale, Florence And The Machine, the Black Keys, Raconteurs, The White Stripes etc....

I lived in Memphis, TN and made tons of trips up to Nashville. My buddy used to live down the river from Cash's home in Hendersonville and he brought me down to see it, but this was after the fire.  I'm a big bluegrass and outlaw country fan. Notice OUTLAW country, not modern country (ie Waylon, Willie, etc).  If your into old country, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. It's where they used to hold the Grand Ole Opry (up until the mid-70s, I think). They still have shows there, it's a magical place (Neil Young's DVD Prarie Wind is shot).  Nashvegas is a great place….
