I used to be big into the older Indie scene, Happy Mondays, Northside, Jesus Jones, PWEI, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Charlatans, Soup Dragons, Stone Roses etc…. It pains me to see the Stone Roses (sort of) reform, let it go boys, it's over.

I only saw them once, in their home town with the Wonderstuff and Neds Atomic Dustbin. I was being strongly influenced by a variety of medications at the time, so alas my memory of the night is poor.

These days I mainly listen to music appropriate to a white guy, in his mid 30's, working his way to becoming middle class…...Arcade Fire, Noah And The Whale, Florence And The Machine, the Black Keys, Raconteurs, The White Stripes etc....
