It was me. I actually felt a stab of guilt when they were published in the shop and there was only one shirt in XXXL available. This was the one shirt I was waiting for this spring (and I was stuck at home by the iPad refreshing the shop page every three minutes for six or seven hours) so I'd be lying if I'd say that I'm not happy I got it but I really do feel bad about so many not having the possibility to get it. Really hope SE gets this one so my US big boned brethren have a chance of getting it that way. I promise I'll get pics up when I get it.
And on a side note, I understand that the reason for there not being as many shirts in big sizes was a production issue but there really seems to be quite a demand for these bigger sizes and I'd hate it if every release in the future would be like this so I sincerely hope that in the future there would be a way to make more. I for one would be willing to commit to buying (or paying a 100% deposit) in a preorder stage in order to get a shirt I'd want. I do understand that there's loads of problems (sizing or production issues etc.) that comes with that but I still think it would be worth a thought.
E: just checked the shop and there's only one XL in red left. This has got to be one of the fastest movers, right? Incredible.

A few questions for G.
1. Any plans to remake these?
2. I recall the Westpoint shirts had similar problems (i.e. larger sizes on khaki were in short suppy). This time, short supply in sizes across the board. What was the problem during the production process? -
Don't know about a re-run, prob not in this particular guise…
I did not ask Haraki what the problem was. Knowing would be interesting but would change nothing.....
Sort of thing I would ask him face to face over a beer, but would not waste his time by asking via email, which would have to be translated etc etc etc
