Why are MMM GAT sneakers so expensive? Is it handmade with high quality materials? Even if it is, they look similar to Adidas Samba construction and I can't see the price being that high with that kind of construction. Not trying to start shit, just wondering.
I checked the price and it was $435.

imho, it's the name you are paying for (big label a salaries to support, advertising, & all else that goes with supporting such a large operation). nothing else as far as i can tell. seems to be like that with alot of "fashion labels". fortunately, alot of folks are around here because they want to spend their hard earned money on quality goods.

Nice, I just looked up GATs and that is what came up. Thanks for clearing up German Army Trainer=GAT. Now I get why the Adidas Samba copies the GAT.
actual the original GAT's were made by Adidas without branding, not sure if this is still the case…
there was also some branded Adidas GAT variation in the last years Adidas Originals serie

Seriously though, the whole crotch area still feels a bit tight after 24 days of wear, no soak or wash, should I try to stretch it a little or just do nothing, kiya says to wash or soak once in a while that it strengthens the denim but is this true?!

yes it is true…but i seriously can´t help you on this, since i just wear my jeans and if i see the crotch is getting thinner with wear, i´m going to give them to a tailor to reinforce´em or i just wear as long as possible and just fix´em after i see a few broken threads.
this (pic below) is the only weak spot in the crotch area of my 634s-raw (~0.5" long), which i´m wearing for almost 4 months now. i´ve just soaked them once (inital soak), since iwant to keep them dry as long as possible!…that spot is broken since 3weeks now i think...still looks the same, still haven´t got bigger, still i won´t fix it, since i don´t want to take these of, since they are so fekkin comfy
