Are they really that red? Not too big on the sole. That's what my black SD pair has. I've decided that I like the half sole better. Still, you could send them in for a resole and still not spend half what you paid for a new pair!His are horsehide, which costs a bit more than cowhide.

The more I look at these the more I think I should sell my RW Iron Rangers and get a pair of these instead
The only reason I didn't go that route back when I was looking for some boots is I couldn't find a pair I liked without a leather sole.

They are def a red u would see on the trees in the fall..thats the best description for them. I would never have bought this color if i were buying them in a store..They are very outfit specific meaning i have to kinda cater to them other wise they do stick out like a sore thumb. The actual style of boot is exactly what i was lookin for but would trade these any day for either another color or better yet my favorite lookin boots…Wolverine 1000 Miles..LOVE those fekkers. I will most likely be tryin to trade them soon..I wore them out twice so far and they look better than u'd expect but like i said if u dont have the gear to mix in with them then they are just gonna be pretty on ur shelf

so if u are wondering YES they are on the block but for trade only as i wouldnt want to necessarily make money on them considering what i bought em for…I will come up with what i am looking for and post it in the trade section

They might (or most likely will) darken up if you apply some oil. On the other hand, In my experience fate has a way of providing you with something you wouldn't normally do for a reason.

I never have been one to comment much, but I love to take photos. That roll call thing was definitely an outcome of a photo documentary class I took about 4 years ago.

Do u think? Please explain I have never done the oil thing. What should i use ? I saw a few post G did with 3 belts all done with different treatments..The olive oil being the best if i recall.

You can kind of tell with my before and after shots what the effect might be. I used the White's oil.
