IH-634S-B - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Overdyed Indigo

I'm still seriously hesitant between 28 and 29.
My 634S (29) are OK, but a I could have gone 28. My 634SR (28) are OK too.
On the paper I could go 28 even with 634S-B, but… It's hard, I don't know. I'm at a standstill.

looking at my size, these fit a lot looser in the legs than the 634s

My 634SB is a lot looser than my 634S-RAW as well. I got it tapered down slightly when i first got them, and they are now still looser than my 634S-RAW.

so just finished a lookbook in my studio and figured i'd give you guys a glimpse at what the subject sees; as well as a look at my newly acquired 634SB's.

they're hemmed what I thought was a bit short, but they work well with chucks and chukka's - you know, summertime footwear.

Hey guys.  I'm new to this forum and have decided on the IH-634S-B as my first pair of IH's.  With that being said I wanted to get everyone's opinion on what waist size I should go for.  I measure out typically a 34" waist.  I'm stuck on wether I should go for the 33" for stretch reasons or stick with a 34"?  Was curious to know how sizing has worked out for people who have gotten these.

33 this denim stretches a lot. I also found my 634sb to be slightly bigger then my 634s.

Thanks for your input derivative666.  As you can probably see my concern on the matter.  These are rather expensive jeans so I'm trying to get the right size on the first try.

I think it might depend on the batch, I would wait for Giles to get these in and make sure measurements are consistent.

The denim will stretch, what to you want the waist to end up at, after stretch?

Anything close to a 34" waist after stretch would be great.

The 21oz denim has been known to stretch up to 2.00" in the waist. Send Urbanwoodsman a PM he is the master of stretch.
