Some shitty cell phone pics, about 3 months in. I've been hanging drywall the last couple days, blew most of the dust out with a compressor, some of the dust is just stuck until the first soak.

A little gypsum never hurt anybody.  I don't think anyway.  Those are beat up in a good way!

Seul, no offense taken (not really).  I have like 8 pairs of Vans and have had the same pair of black Chucks since 2002.  When I was in middle school I had a pair that were glow in the dark cheetah print.  Say what you will but I would wear those now if I could find them.

So here's the real question… Now that I have these ODs I'm trying like hell to stretch out, what do I do w/ my XHS?  Do I wash them and put them down at 5 months of wear?  Do I hold out another month or 2 in case it gets chilly here?  They're going to have to get wet at some point but I will want to put them away after the 1st wash.  What are the rest of you doing now that spring/summer is around the corner?

Hey Matt… The OD fabric isn't much lighter than the 25 oz… I'd say put another month worth of wear into your XHS'es, then wash 'm and put 'm away... Me I'm going with 14 oz. jeans as soon as the XHS'es become too warm to wear at work... And let's hope the lightweight ducks 'll be out by then as well...

I might be more inclined to go heavy in the summer if I lived someplace dry like AZ, but I'm in Baltimore and it's a GD sauna here @ 95+ degrees F with 95% humidity from June to September.  It's miserable.  When I made the switch to IH I turned all my old 501s into shorts so that may be my option for really bad days.

Completely agree with you, Matt. I'm from Florida and live in NYC now, it gets so muggy here during the summer. I hate wearing shorts but there really isn't a "man up" option out there unless IH makes chambray pants. And I wouldn't call chambray pants manly.

some news about the re-stock? The DC4002 was not my cup of tea. I'm to thin for that fit. Will try a pair of 666-XHS (W32) in the near future …

About 2 weeks.  The 634-xhs are ready to ship now, the 666-xhs are a week behind them…

                                  why so serious?

Agreed. I own a lot of jeans and live in Bowie, MD. Summer is for lighter denim

Okay. I have to wait to wait and check for myself how breathable this 25 oz denim is. I am not a friend of sweaty legs, too. Therefore I only wear denim in summer,  in the later hours of the day…

There's also the effect the sweat will have on the jeans' stink factor.  5 months w/ no wash and no stink may work from October to March, but I wouldn't last 5 days come May in these things.  The odor would get pretty raunchy pretty quick.
