IH-634S-RAW - 21/23 ounce raw straight cut

Hey there learned Iron Hearters - currently steppin' out in style with my 634s-raws and have been wearing them non-stop for about 5/6 weeks now.

They fit really good but i think a little fine tuning on the dimensions might be in order. I'm sure this question has been posted by 100s of newbies before but I'll ask it again anyway - I'm sure it's okay to give 'em a hot soak at this stage to tighten things up and there won't be any adverse side-effects?

well…. you should have soaked them BEFORE you start to wear them. By searching you would have found the answer...

Hotsoak or spin them in machine in 60°C inside out. No ill effect will occur.

We included a sheet of instructions specifically for the RAWs with every pair we shipped (at least we should have done).  Perhaps yours got mislaid…

Fergz did a cold soak before wearing them.  You are ok soaking again now it won't hurt the denim IMO.

i´m also thorn if i should wear and don´t give a fuck when it comes to washing or if i should wash every 3 months/when needed!...

what´s the "best" for this type of denim?...

if i live in your place, i could leave it for 6 months without washing. But with the hot humid weather.. I could not do that.

Yep, i did a cold soak on the jeans before i washed them but just wondering whether a hot soak wouldn't tighten them a little. Thanks for the feedback.

Finn, I guess you know what I'm about to say. Wash at least every 3rd month if daily wear, I'd probably wash even more often.

You won't get so much contrast fading but who cares? I rather use clean clothes than smelly faded ones…

Abdul…..very nice man, I'm doing my 1-month pics tomorrow, then a wash in the washer to shrink the top-block down a bit.

So, what should I do??  Warm or Hot wash??

Warm soak should do the trick, they will shrinkage further with hot air/time length for the jeans to dry. The shortest drying time, the more shrinkage you got..

I just took them out and they're hangin as we speak, they went through a spin cycle (which I forgot if I was suppose to do or not), so they should be hopefully dry by days end, for sure tomorrow though, then back on my legs.

Great pics cris, mine will be washed again this Friday ( 3rd wash in hot water, full cycle ) then off
to SELA to get shortened finally.

Yes IJ and myself did the hot machine wash and it worked great!
