Yea I agree the composition of the sole held up nice but the way they wear, coupled with the leather not wearing very nicely makes for an ugly shoe, that being said these shoes new are really really sharp looking, and I love the overall look of them, but Mabey a good Sapir treatment and a resole after a while would do the trick, plus you don't know if these were untreated, I assume they were

And, just as an added comment, I wouldn't exepect anything from leather soul to have good evo from hard wearing.  If you look at most of their products (these included imo), they are made for style and look, not functionality.  I suppose that is what I found weird about the pairing with ironheart in the first place, but whatever, who really cares.

Just as an example, did you see those Rider's Ottawa Hiking Boots.  They are not designed for hiking, and I am sure anyone at leather soul would admit that.  Better off wearing them to work in the office or dinner.

^ Thanks Finn….for the hem only and no tapering, SE does it, but if not, I take them to a normal Tailor, but I might switch to another Tailor with this pair and bring it where SE suggest to bring them for tapering.

Impressions are these are gonna fade pretty quick, as someone else said pockets are quite low and seem long, and after they hit water they are much more rigid, ( I soaked them in hot and they def shrank) prob a full 1/2 inch if not more. But they are beautiful, they pictures on the site do zero justice, well the one with the model wearing them a little but not like in person, I'm gonna size down and they won't hit water for a very long time cause they are smooth at first, also they bleed like a stuck pig

they were just really strong swimmers & i swore i did enough stuff to myself to ensure i would be sterile  but no such luck.
