Well, the deed is done. I just placed my order through Self Edge for a size 34.  My Samurai S710xx and Black Shadows are 33's but the waist on both have stretched to almost 35" on those. I'm sure these won't stretch nearly as much, so I think I made the right move going with 34 in these. Fingers crossed.  Now the tortuous wait begins…

They'll fit perfectly AFTER A COUPLE OF HOURS/ DAYS OF WEAR. Keep that in mind. And congrats!..

I'm a 35 waist and the 34 in the 666xhs is a perfect fit. Mine took about a week to stretch out, even the thighs stretched some.

They definitely stretch/conform more than advertised (none) w/ the exception of the  hips.  The hips are the snuggest part on mine and haven't budged an inch for whatever reason.

Also, make sure you aren't overly attached to the current color of your shoes.

Thanks guys. I'm stoked. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow. Of course, even if they fit, I'll have to send them back to get hemmed. Can't wait to see them though, I've never even seen a pair of Iron Heart jeans in this denim wasteland I live in.

Wow, I'm really excited for you.  I would hate to get them then have to send them away.  I just put my nickel down and had them hemmed sight unseen.  Fortunately it worked but I certainly understand your caution.

Since I've been wearing these for the last 3 months, all other jeans feel like cheap tissue paper. Does 21oz breathe better in the heat? Otherwise this summer is going to be brutal.

the 21oz breathes very well.. not sure about the 25oz though, seems like it would be an oven in the summertime.

Hit the 90 day mark and the XHS just gets better and better. It's true these jeans do become very comfortable despite their weight. They develop on a daily basis which is great for OCD sufferers like myself. As with coffee and wine the notes are there to be discovered and savoured…

I've got the same thing.  I just figured since they're so stiff that part usually sticks out when you are sitting (or if you have a giant fire breathing Godzilla ding dong like me) and naturally gets more contact to speed up the wear.
