Don't think my seller found it very convenient to be stifled out of an extra 50 $ in shipping…

Seul, thats just called business. The only reason you are upset is because you know what the actual cost is. When you buy a pair of $300 jeans, it probably doesn't cost anywhere near that. just knowing the actual costs changes your perception but the act of doing business remains the same. Just think that over.

I don't mind buying jeans for 300 €… It's a luxury product in a capitalist economy... But a basic service like using the fecking mail (despite the fact that it was UPS providing a USPS service) shouldn't cost anyone an extra 50 just for providing the convenience... That's like buying a bread for 15 $ at the library cause they went out of their way to provide bread...

In fact: I'm pretty sure it's not even allowed in Belgium to charge more for a postal service outside of the regular PO (yes we have lotsa supermarkets and such that allow you to ship from their stores)...

I'mm too tired to explain it and my English is appalling right now... But I think you know what I mean...

There's nothing illegal about it if you ask me but I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. I don't see it any differently than someone selling a hamburger or a shirt for profit. Nobody sells anything for cost and if they are charging 40% markup or whatever it is, thats alot better than the 300% or more you pay for everything else.

Well, the problem here is that your seller, let's call him "dumbass", for the sake of this post, went to a private vendor for his cheap public service.  Had dumbass followed your instructions and gone to the Post Office, there wouldn't have been this problem.

I don't think this is quite the same as your bread at the library example, either.  Dumbass went to a competitor to buy a product and got charged extra for the convenience.  So it's more like going to the Apple Store and buying a Sony laptop, then complaining because Apple charged an extra $900 above retail.  If dumbass didn't like the price, he should have walked out and gone somewhere cheaper.

The problem here isn't the business model, it's the lazy, ignorant consumer.  But hey, that's just my opinion…

So I'm having something of an ethical/moral dilemma.  In today's mail I received a solicitation from a group that I oppose on virtually every position.  For some unknown reason, they think I'm one of them, so they're asking for my "continued support".  I'm thinking it would be great to stay on their mailing list, just so I can f#ck with them.  However, I just can't give them money and still sleep at night.

Should I let it go?  Or would it be cool to send them a check for something like 10 cents, so they'll actually spend more in processing fees to cash it than I'll be giving them, and at the same time managing to show up on their mailing lists as a "donor"?

Which IH shirts can hold an iPhone in the pocket?

I can confirm that the following do:
                            IHSH-25 (mechanics shirt)
                            IHSH-34 (hairline hickory)
                            IHSH-41 Mark III (herringbone western)

It can be squeezed into the following but doesn't look good:
                            IHSH-12 (heavy ombre)
                            IHSH-18 (viyella check)

                            Based upon the IH webpage:
                            IHD-01 (denim western)
