I got these in the mail just over a week ago (in fact, I got them a week ago yesterday, so I've only been wearing them a week after soaking and drying overnight), and the stitching on the pocket has already come out.

I was wondering what I should do to get this fixed. Just take them to any old tailor? Please help!!

    Thanks!  😃

it´s not that bad and can happen to every jeans…actually it happens to all of my jeans, except my IH´s...
just take a needle and some thread and sew it back on again...nothing too big of a problem and fixed in like 1minute. you don´t even need to bring´em to a tailor.
if u unsure let your mum/grandma do the job, they should know how to solve this "problem"...

this actually happens when your jeans fit too tight and you can´t put your hands in your pockets the "normal" way since there is too much pressure on them and you need to force your hands into your pockets...

Whoops, sorry.  Yes, it is a super quick fix.  But try and get it done sooner rather than later.  I specc'd cotton constructional stitching on the IH-666 for a more authentic aged look, but 1 week certainly is quicker than planned for…

stickyglue, the same thing happened to me. I repaired them on my own and it only took about 30 minutes. See here for photos: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=833.msg87266#msg87266

Have ordered a pair of W33 when my waist measures 34. Would it okay or I have gotten the wrong size? I know i've spoken to Giles about this but kinda worried as the jeans is supposed to arrive tomorrow. (probably too excited thus having a little of fear that it might not fit and spoil the party.)

haha yeah, im praying hard it'll fit well tomorrow. its gonna be a switch from crappy nudie thin finn to the 666S! wore that nudie for 1 year without a wash almost everyday so now its time to give it a wash to see the fade.  😉

I started, amongst others, with Nudies as well… Raw Average Joes... Can't believe I'm now using the Iron Heart drugs  😉

Be sure to post some pics of your Nudies post-wash, though!..

will do but now im wondering if i should continue wearing it awhile more. worried the fade won't turn out as expected. 😞 also, you reckon for W33 in 666S, can i take W32 for 634S? worried will look baggy in W33 for 634S. 😞

Even a size 32 will feel "baggy" compared to the triple 6'es, lad… Get the Busters instead...

                            Volcano,

I wouldn't size down 2 in 634s if your TTS is really 34. Get another cut is you want slim fit.

Got my stitching fixed, looks fine. Not perfect, but I think it would only ever be noticeable to me! Still loving these jeans!!

                                  injunjack,

so what'd you reckon I should get for 634S? I can live with a similar cut to 501 but not those hip hop kinda jeans. and yes, I'm a 33.6 so I just round it up to 34. 🙂 wearing a 32 for the LVC 1944 and 32 for the common 501s in stores too. 🙂 but my measuring tape measures me at 33.6 😞

Measure your 501's, not your waist, and compare to sizing table. There is a good video on the forum how to measure, or if you go to the store, you'll find advise how to measure there.

for the initial first soak, do we turn the jeans inside out or what? and whats the recommended temperature? 60 degrees? 90 degrees? aftermath drip dry them? 🙂 will wear it while its damp least i can't fit when its totally dry. so excited to wear it now!  😉

Does not need to be inside out, and if you want to minimise shrinkage, do not make the water too hot…./
