I also appreciate the "strange internet support" and those who give it.Hoping things will be looking up, and hey, you should channel as much angst as you can into that denim duel...

This is rather brilliant.
I must admit, I often fall into the pedant category- my excuse is both the argument for clarity, as well as a perhaps more defensible position that it is necessary to understand the rules and the underlying purpose of them in order to know when and how to break them effectively and creatively.
Perhaps Fry is right, though, and I should concentrate less on tedious convention and more on joyful expression.
