The only rule I really stick to is to pass on the outside of the pavement when it's a woman or elderly person coming the other way. My mum taught me this when I was a kid and I still do it.

I like the turn this has taken because I also do not understand the people who don't walk on the right side of the sidewalk or walk side by side taking up the whole walkway. To me, these things are common sense. Do they not realize they are being ridiculously rude?

Glad to vent this. I feel better now, and I think I have developed some strategies to deal with it.
That being said, I am always satisfied when one of the dumb jerks then drops their phone and I see a broken screen. I literally laugh out loud at them.

I was "lucky" no cut tendons… this happened on friday, just minutes before I was 'bout to leave for karate camp.
guys were waiting for me to pick them up. 2,5h later we were en route. Drove the first 180 kms of total of 400km.What really pisses me off is that I have to wait till this is healed before I can get back wrenching my bike.
