I have the 18oz raw Busters, and I absolutely love the character of the denim. Very slubby and uneven, nice contrast fading, but not too fast, breathable, comfortable and tough.
Can't comment on the 21oz (yet), will need another week before my 634's arrive

No tips on that I'm afraid, it's not something that many of us have much of a talent for

See, this is why I initially refused to send to Europe. Just got back from the UPS store and those fuckers said it would be $150 to send UPS w/ tracking. So I said fck that, what's the cheapest? And they said $64 via USPS Priority Mail w/ no tracking. So I did that. Never sending to Europe again, this is bulls**t. I asked them why so high and they said they only mark it up 10% from what going to the post office would charge. Fck it.
It was the short sleeve 16 (heavy chambray) shirt. I weighed my shirt and a padded envelope, went to the USPS online calculator, and got a figure of 14.95 $. Which seemed entirely correct for FIRST CLASS INT'L MAIL. I told the seller to ship through this service and only this service.
Now the people at the UPS store just BLATANTLY ripped him off, cause even Priority Airmail would only be about 30-35 $… And the package was well within the weight limit and dimensionsal restrictions of First Class.
Is there anything he can do?.. I pressured him into shipping to €urope as he initially didn't want, so now I feel pretty bad about this...
Oh, and as a bonus: I will now pay a nice custom fee as well. Not that I should be the one complaining, but seriously this is just enfuriating.

Do you have the package? Personally, I would photograph it, including the USPS label which will show you the service used, and the cost, weight it (photograph of you weighing it), and send a strongly worded email to USPS customer services.
Might do nothing, but would make you feel better.

If the package is out already I doubt there's anything you can do
The UPS store may not be able to ship packages by any class less than priority, I don't know. I've shipped plenty to Europe, almost all priority, usually about $30-35. I use the post office. If the item can fit in a flat rate envelope (a SS shirt prob could) then about $15…

Seul- sounds like your seller's problem is that he went to the UPS store for a USPS service. UPS (a private company) is great for domestic shipping, not so great for international. When you try to use a shipping service other than their own- like Fed Ex, DHL or the USPS, they tack on a fat surcharge to cover the additional costs they incur. USPS, aka the US Postal Service, is really the best option for international shipping. He should have gone to his local Post Office and he would've gotten the price you found online. The "we only mark it up 10%" he got from the UPS store is utter nonsense. They can't make a profit with only a 10% markup. It's usually at least double; I worked at one of those shipping resellers years ago and I remember our pricing tables.
As for what you can do, well, not much. The deed is done. Frankly, though, it was his fault. You told him to send it Priority Mail, and he made the choice to go to the wrong place to do it. That's not your responsibility; I understand you feel bad about it, and it's going to end up being more expensive, but it really is his, and only his, fault.
