Watches - another OCD problem
-
I don't wear this one very often so when I had it on a couple days ago I decided I'd take a quick shot of it.
Jii, love the Breitling BTW. -
@ Finn - dude, this is the de facto starter watch for loads of people getting into autos:

thanks for pointing me into the right direction, but i´m not feeling this one of seiko…
if i have the time i need to start read myself into this watch topic again! -
Maybe you feel this'un (I know I do):

Can't go wrong with Seiko. If you're into more classic divers watches the SKX007 is a benchmark as well. Click here for a good review with beautiful pics.

damn Jii…that´s what i´m talking about
thanks lad.Maybe you feel this'un (I know I do):
nope sry mate…i know i´m a bit special

Also worth considering is the Orient Mako (click here for a review)- for the money (less than $100), I don't think you can get a better automatic watch. It is easily on par with watches 3 or 4 times more expensive. It also has one of the best looking blue dials I've ever seen.

yay/nay? been looking for a vintage-ish watch that's below $200. i have no experience with buying 2nd hand watches online. what do I look out for?

Sorry guys forgot to add any narrative to the rather crappy photo.
Out of the two I sort of prefer the Oris BC3, which is my every day watch, it's got a bit of weight and can take a thrashing, but isn't the best timekeeper.
I bought the Rolex a few years ago when everyone was wearing them, with hindsight I should have got something a bit more individual. Having been through this thread there are some great watches that I've never come across before. So I wish I had been on the Forum before getting the Rolex. -
That Rolex is beautiful Alcatraz, one day I hope to pick up one very similar.

Styling on the Rolex doesn't really do anything for me, but that's just individual preference; the company makes excellent watches. The Oris is nice. The company always seems to slide along without much attention, but they do make a really solid timepiece for a nice price.
EDIT: In the interests of keeping this thread interesting, here's what I'm wearing today:
