i have the snaps from the  IHSH-43.  if you will cover cost i'll send them your way. . . just have to dig them out my junk draw

I thought once snaps were removed they couldn't be reused, got deformed or something? learn new stuff all the time, great work pook

The button themselves, if carefully removed, might be recycled… Just think the (m)other part isn't re-usable...

Thanks Monday, I might take you up on that offer if I get bored with another shirt
But yeah, I had to use pliers to straighten out the prongs and just re-used the backs.  I tested it first and saw that it was just as hard to remove as a new one so went for it.

I've got man flu so that's my excuse for not reviewing the thread…can anyone comment on viability of retroing snaps onto a button shirt? Thanks

can't say it's been done hectic.

It might look kinda off.  First, the button holes are likely sewn with reinforcement threads.  Second, you will have to sew the button holes together.  But no one will stop you from trying though.

if one can still use them and if it´s possible at all, i would love to cop the original buttons of the 43 you´ve once pimped…if you still have them o/course!

I try not to be that poster that comes in and asks something that has been explained already, but being here sporadically sometimes I miss things.  So, is there a list of shirts that can be pimped?  It says it is noted on the store pages, but if it is, I must be blind.  Just wondering if any of my favorites (31) can get the MOP, and how to plan future purchases.
