Gotta agree with Seul on this one; that nominativ, dativ, aktiv und genitiv stuff made my brain ache back in college.

I took one year of Latin and those god-dang -iv's indeed did me head in… Even more...

So what did you study for, Chris: pigwrestler or live stock fetcher?..

I got a BS in Political Science, which is appropriate, since the field is largely BS.  I probably should have majored in something useful, like pig wrestling.

Political science - agreeing with your stance on that being a load of BS

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the subject and am still fascinated by international relations, public policy creation and the philosophy of law and governance, (yeah, I'm fully aware of how dorky I am) which is why I majored in it, but the attempts to promote it as some sport of quantifiable and objective field of study were absurd.  As Butthead once said, "you can't polish a turd, Bevis."  As for the idea that a degree in the subject could actually lead to a job doing "political science", whatever that may be,  well, the less I discuss that, the better.;)

Just off to hospital to have my stitches removed - funnily enough the surgeon said the most painful part of this procedure was going to removing the sticky dressing.  Let's go find out….

Well, I did an MA is Science Fiction Studies, which ended up being useful, but it was touch and go there for a while!
