Samurai Jeans
-
+1 monday, I have two pairs and they're great.
-
I love my Sammies too, and at the end of the HWDC I will be buying another pair. Shame so many of their shirts, tee's, jackets and sweaters are either stupidly sized, ugly designed, or mind blowingly expensive. After 2012 I'm gonna be rolling with Samurai legs, and and Iron Heart torso

Or all three…

^^ that's my way of dressing right now and for the future, I think. But the Samurai Shirts I saw at DC4 were well designed and perfectly sized.

i have only seen the Sam shirts on sale at BiG and they are all much too small for someone who wears XL in their IH shirts. Would you be able to remember roughly how large the sam shirts fit man?
-
yeah Samurai only has a few nice tops in their collection. Daniel has choosen the best ones for his shop.
I'm also more a "lower half Samurai guy" -
I like a lot of the Samurai tee's, but I'm more thinking of those denim shirts that BIG had last year, with a Phoenix on them, now they were ugly, plus their loopwheeled sweaters and hoodies only fit tiny people. How can a hoody advertised as an XL have a 38" chest???
-
The last Samurai shirt I wore was L or XL and was perfect for a guy like me who wears L and Xl and IH as well.
-
That's what I'm talking about though Flo, the sizing in their tops is completely inconsistent, more so than any other brand that I am aware of. I spoke to Gordon at BIG about the sweaters and hoodies, because I couldn't believe his measurements were accurate, apparently they are and Samurai just have different thoughts on how a 42 chest should fit.

Decided to remove the cinch back from my USA's , ive never realy seen the point in having a cinch back on a mid rise jean . I think that was the reason ive never realy worn them
i hammered the rivets out and took them to my regular seamstress to back stitch a piece of cotton over the holes, i think it worked out realy well
cant even see the stitches
here's a few detail pics of the jeans
love the denim and the pocket bags are beautiful -
Samurai is now available at DC4 Berlin's online store:
-
^with the most accurate measurements you'll find online IMO
(although, keep in mind DC4 measures a bit different than BiG, especially the waist) -
most accurate when it comes to Samurai I have to add just in case someone says that the other brands are already covered elsewhere with the same accuracy.
Whereas BiG is the only other better known store which actualy measures Samurai jeans (most just use the official measurements which are often misleading) but sometimes they also lack exactness. -
^what no 5000 cuts?
-
I blame this on the way they measure. see here:
http://shop.dc4.de/Measuring-Guide:_:20.html?XTCsid=k1m69ob32mefh4ht00oi2l2to1this way the waist will come up smaller
The S5000VX are ordered and will come with the next shipping AFAIK

Def something to bear in mind, lads. Thanks @ b_F, our resident Sam connaisseur!..
