Most of roads closed due to avalanche risk, only one lift open at moment, truck loads of snow being ferried out of town…

Wandered up, but the only lift open was on the nursery slope, so did not bother.  May venture out again later but it is -15 C at 2000 meteres and the wind is gusting at 70kph…..

Wow some serious snowfall around G. I'm sitting in snowfree and green Zurich at work. My parents called me up and luckily some of my many brothers and sisters helped them digging out from their home in snowy Swiss alps. Some areas have reached over 2 meter of snow already. And more snow is forecasted!!

I just hope they don't loose their telephone and power supply over the next days
