Just wear them around for a little bit, Kat. LIke I said, mine were 29 after a hot soak and they stretched back out to 31. I couldn't button them at first either.
I agree, Simon had the same issue with his SR's took about a week to get teh top button done up, now they are fine….

My main concern is this,
I needed them to stretch to 36, so I figured since the 35 was 36 pre soak, that'd be perfect. Since they came an inch smaller than tagged to begin with, I'm unfortunately not feelin too optimistic at the moment. (stretching up one size I expected, 2 not so much)...
But, don't want to sound like a little whiny baby, so I'll just see what I can do.

I finally got the 3rd button button done! One last final button, and I'm good to go. The rest of leg feels really good!

Hem 9.5"I pretty like the fit now, but would be better if I get least an inch of stretch at the waist, and about 0.5" at the thigh.. I was hoping thati get more shrinkage at the hems too, but not really nothing me. Proper pics tmrw when there is better sun and light.

alright, i've just soaked my jeans and damn, i felt like steve irwin wrestling a crocodile. had a really hard time…turning my jeans right side up and buttoning up my first button.
manage to get one so far. will try again later! highly doubt its gonna be possible. my size 35 jeans shrunk to a 34...lots of stretching to do..!

Ive got to say I pity anyone who sized down on these. I went true to size and after a hot soak I can get the bottom three buttons up but the top one has some distance to go. My girlfriend laughed at me as I tried to turn them inside out for 15 minutes, repeatedly getting my hand stuck in the leg. But its all worth it, this denim is absolutely amazing. Cant wait until I can actually button them up. And thank you Monday for sharing the deal for the Epaulet Crazy Horse boots, got them yesterday and couldnt be happier.

Thanks finn, it was a serious mission. I had to lay down to get the last button I could do up, and I think my wallet is now just a permanent back pocket fixture as its not coming out anytime soon.

Mine stretched back to raw in like 30 minutes, why are you afraid?
Not the waist, I know it will stretch… Just a little nervous about thigh, but I will not hot soak. Should be ok!!??

What other IH jeans do you have? I'd put the post soak thigh and knee on these somewhere between the 666XHS/BB SBG and 634SR

Yes sir, I can now officially button the top button, but they are yet to be very comfortable in the waist

Thanks man, I based my size off my 301s, which were a sz 30 and the world tour 634s which were a 31, so figured a 30 would give me the best fit.

g, you think they'll get longer as I wear them?
i thought jeans got shorter as they stacked, i just wanted a bit more cuff…
great denim and i'm getting some great creases in the front lower parts where most other denim just falls.
cheers, and yes, my thumb was numb for a day after wrestling the buttons in.
