Thanks finn, it was a serious mission.  I had to lay down to get the last button I could do up, and I think my wallet is now just a permanent back pocket fixture as its not coming out anytime soon.

What other IH jeans do you have?  I'd put the post soak thigh and knee on these somewhere between the 666XHS/BB SBG and 634SR

Yes sir, I can now officially button the top button, but they are yet to be very comfortable in the waist

Thanks man, I based my size off my 301s, which were a sz 30 and the world tour 634s which were a 31, so figured a 30 would give me the best fit.

so i'm happy with the fit now, however i feel that too much shrinkage occurred in the length.

g, you think they'll get longer as I wear them?

i thought jeans got shorter as they stacked, i just wanted a bit more cuff…

great denim and i'm getting some great creases in the front lower parts where most other denim just falls.

cheers, and yes, my thumb was numb for a day after wrestling the buttons in.

I have the same issue, I think the shrinkage of the length was also more than what I expected. Didn't expect that they will shrink about 2 inch.. Would prefer to have a bit more stacks..

once the creases set, you will get shorter inseam.. depends on how your wear and fit..

man, my rear rise for the jeans shrunk by 1.3 inches. 15.8 > 14.5 inches. feels really uncomfortable wearing it now lol.

Mine felt like that at first too, but I suspect it was because I had to pull them up really high to be able to fasten the top button.  I'm happy to say that went away too.  That's the main reason I don't wear my strike golds more than once every month or two.

hopefully mine stretches back out eventually. only manage to get two buttons on so far. getting a blister on my thumb!
