Being quite new to the forum, and only very recently having started to post very modestly, I probably should really "introduce" myself with appropriate attire, namely the one IH piece that I own, (and much love), my 634S jeans.

To get them to fade strikes me as the task of a lifetime somehow. They have been worn, pretty constantly, for about a month. Considering their durability, and how "fekkin" (picked up that word from my new forum mate Nem) expensive they are, chances are this pair will remain my only Iron Heart  possession for some time.

Very many thanks, Nem. You do know you're one of my absolute denim heroes here, so I'm pleased as punch. Now beating the fekk out of them will be easier said then done, I'm too much a "head and desk" type of person to really put them to the limit. But I'll work on it, promise!

Here are my 634s.

Were a perfect fit with a  size 36 waist, but i lost a bit of weight and now going to treat myself to a new pair of 34".

Wear them a lot, done many thousands of miles.

back pocket is pretty worn

seams are beginning to fray

so after Christmas they'll be the right size again!

September 2010! Blimey, I got mine about the same time and I've worn them about 2/3 of every week, and they hardly look worn at all.

you know what?  my last pair of ih-634s' feel different.  the others i bought before seemed to be softer and had a smoother coating.  this new pair i bought feels more 'raw' and rigid.  dunno… i may be wrong but i've had 3 pairs in the past.

Interesting.  I have noticed no major difference in the batches we have got in, but there will be some minor differences in how the denim looks/feels between batches.  Or perhaps the shipping beatch sent you a pair of 666 by mistake…..

thanks for the quick feedback, i was going for a looser look.  the denim quality is amazing.  now have lvc 1966 and the ironhearts in my rotation.  love this form btw.

If you had them hemmed then they are perfect!

If you didn't, then you should get a size smaller, IMHO, they will still have plenty of room for you.

If you keep them, definitely wear a belt to limit the stretching in the waist.

Hey Rick,

Congrats on your 634S, I would have sized down two if I were you, but I believe we probably are on opposite ends of the taste scale, I like my jeans real tight. You can, if interested, find a fit pic some posts above.

Now enjoy and wear them. Hard!
