the washer strap is cordovan leather … and I don't have cordovan to replace it ... as my knowledge there is just one company in the U.S. that sells ... and the price is huh ... besides I don't have the same thread
my wallet has not yet arrived at the castle (feckin' german mail), so maybe I have to fix it by myself ... but the offer to take it on the trip to japan and refurb by professionals was a lucky coincidence and a great offer to me ...

Anyone got an idea of where I can get a brass fish hook style thing to make my own lanyard? I can find plenty of places that have brass svivel snaps, but not hooks.. Considering just copping out and going for 2x snaps.

yeah, wider straps would make it more manly…and prolly more comfortable to carry around. Otherwise purdy purrfekt...

yeah, right, looks a little girly with long straps, making them shorter should not be a problem.
rivets at the top of the sideseams would be cool, i think.
if i calculated the right way there is denim left for another seven or eight bags.
let's see….
